    Choosing your furniture

    Tuesday, May 25th, 2010

Now you are ready to move in to a new house, its now time also to choose the best furniture for you and your new home. It is important to be practical when choosing these pieces of furniture even if you have the money and the resources. Let’s say by the time you want to rearrange your furniture in the near future, you won’t waste much money on it.

If you have a small home or even a large one, choose those small scale pieces that will not only save you more space but will be easier for you to move things around. Select furniture that will also give you storage and drawers where you can keep things in it and again saves space. Some homeowners prefers buying loveseats instead of one piece large sofas, again the purpose of this is to make things easier to move for you. Choose neutral colors that can be easily match to any wall paper or design.

But then again, in modern living and modern house style, it’s ok if you mix match things in any way you want as long the style is still in. As they say, don’t be afraid to experiment and be aggressive in designing. Find what works best and fits for your new abode.

First step in designing a small house

    Monday, April 5th, 2010

I live in a small house right now that is just enough for my little family, compose of mu husband, my son, a helper and me. When we moved in to this house with 2 bedrooms and one room for our maid, we had a little problem designing it since we have lots of stuff that was given from our wedding and from our old house.

So we decided to hire an interior decorator to help us maximize this small unit that we have and use the resources we have as well. First problem came to us is to remove all items that we will not use anymore even if they have their sentimental value. That will really hurt me so much since I am attached to every small thing given to me and I think I still can use that thing in the near future.

I decided that instead of throwing away those things, I will give them to our friends or to my sister who can use them and if ever I’ll need it I can borrow it then. This first step was really hard but helpful and made me and my hubby relieved that we are left with few useful things now.

You can also use this tip when fixing your closet and need to give room to your new clothes. The rest of the interior decorator advice on my next entry.

    House selling made easier

    Saturday, January 9th, 2010

Real estate is basically the legal term that fundamentally constitutes land, together with anything on it like buildings, houses, any stationary structures or anything fixed in one place.

Nowadays, there are tons of real estate conglomerates all around the world and all of them targets one single goal, which is basically to make sales to the public. But for ordinary people, sometimes they see real estate or selling a house as something that is just about next to impossible to do. There are lots of people interested in doing this for their own houses so they could have money for whatever reason that they want to use it that end up just seemingly waiting for eternity, hoping against hope that the loan that they have applied will finally be approved, but in the end getting lower than what they have asked for or worst, not getting any money at all. This is where the quick house sale method could help the most because with this system, people can find several firms that can help them make a sale of their houses faster, without even getting in touch with an estate agent, making the seller an agent of his or her own. They won’t be asking for any reasons why you why you wanted to sell the house, whether it’s because of bankruptcy, mortgage rates, eviction, or even divorce, because what matters to them would be for you to get what you want.
